Got a favourite Mac app? Know something awesome about using it? Write a how-to article and send it in. We’ll pay you US$60 if we use the article.

Our contribute form is linked at the bottom of this page, but you should read everything below before you hit ‘Submit’. This will help ensure our time isn’t wasted, and neither is yours.

What we’re looking for:

We look for the following things in contributions:

• Expertise – It really helps if you know what you’re talking about!
• Web Writing – Writing on the web works best when it’s not too verbose, and makes use of lists and headings to break up the text.
• How-Tos for Popular Apps – It’s best if your how-to is for an app that is either reasonably popular or should be reasonably popular. We generally avoid anything which is very niche.

Before you make contact with us, read this:

• It is entirely up to the editor to select articles for publication.
• Your article must be finished when submitting.
• The article you submit is your original work and not published elsewhere. (Please credit all sources, assets and use common sense.)
• Your article may be edited prior to publishing.

If your article is accepted:

• you grant a license to Envato / AppStorm to be the exclusive publisher of the article online. You may republish extracts online – for example on your own site – however the article in its entirety should not appear elsewhere. You may also republish the article offline in any way you wish – e.g. sell it to a magazine, submit it to a book.
• you consent to the full article, extracts, samples or examples from it appearing in other Envato sites, products and services.
• payment of USD $60 will be made at the beginning of the month after your article is accepted.
• You must have a PayPal account for us to pay.
