For those of us that want to make small, personal websites without requiring the knowledge to code, iWeb is an absolutely wonderful solution. However, as you become more proficient with this application which comes pre-installed on every Mac, you’ll find that it’s feature set can be limiting to say the least.

Below is a selection of six different iWeb add-ons which all expand the capabilities of iWeb. Each add-on is quite different to the next (and a few have been outdated by improvements in the latest version of iWeb) but read on to see if any of these are for you.

It’s happened to all of us. You’re working on a document in Pages, a spreadsheet in Excel, or a masterpiece in Photoshop, and you completely forget to save. Suddenly the power cuts out, the application crashes, or someone closes your document without saving, and all of your hard work has vanished without a trace.

Just as I finished typing the paragraph above, Pages automatically saved itself. This is not a feature included with iWork, but the wonder of a new application from Tool Force Software called ForeverSave. This work of genius automatically saves and backs up all documents in applications you ask it to. This review will take a look at what this app lets you do, along with a few limitations.

Delicious is a fantastic service for organizing, sharing, and finding great bookmarks on the web. However I’ve never thought much of the bland appearance of the site and as a result I’ve never felt the urge to sign up. Until now.

After finding out about Delibar, a new Delicious client for Mac from Shiny Frog, I’ve realized the potential of Delicious bookmarking and Delibar feels like the perfect way to do it. Delibar lets you search, share, discover, and organize your Delicious account right from within the Menu Bar on your Mac. This review will take a look at exactly what Delibar is capable of.

iTunes is great. It does everything you’d ever need from a media player. However, sometimes everything is just too much. Having so many features can be a little more of a drag on your computer’s processing power, and makes the app cumbersome and difficult to use.

This is where Ecoute comes in… Developed by PixiApps, It’s a lightweight, fast, and simple standalone application for playing your iTunes library without iTunes! I love iTunes, and I was skeptical that I could be tempted by something offering less features for a small price, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. This review will offer an overview of what you can do with this excellent piece software.
