AppStorm NewsSince we launched Mac.AppStorm early this year it’s been growing really rapidly and rapidly getting a reputation as the leading blog on Mac Apps. This is in no small part due to our very talented editor David Appleyard who has steered this blog from strength to strength. With Mac.AppStorm doing so well, we’ve decided it’s time to branch out into another great area of apps – the Web! Meet Web.AppStorm. (more…)
It’s been a hectic 3 days for us here at Envato. We’ve had a massively successful Birthday Bundle (over 5,000 sales in 3 days), lots of giveaways, a fantastic Tuts+ tutorial set up for free download and our first video interview. Here in the office we’ve also been celebrating today with a big lunch and lots of network gaming! With the birthday all wrapped up now though I thought I’d give you a very quick preview of what’s coming up in September…
One week on from the launch of the AppStorm blog and the site is flying along. Close to 2,000 2,149 RSS subscribers and a little over 60,000 pageviews served already! With so much traffic coming through, we’ve decided to open up the sidebar for advertising at a cheap early ad rate of $160 p/month.
We’ve got big plans for this site both in content and features. So hopefully a few of these spots will go and help pay towards getting the ball really rolling!
You can purchase a monthly ad spot at BuySellAds.com. Thanks for your support!
Hello, and a very warm welcome to AppStorm – a site dedicated to Mac application news, reviews, competitions and tips. If you’re a Mac user, I hope that the upcoming articles will open your eyes to a whole range of innovative new applications. If you’re not a Mac user, be careful; reading about the fantastic software offered for the platform may cause you to switch!
The next few weeks have some great content in store. I’ll be reviewing several fantastic pieces of software, rounding up a selection of the best Twitter apps, keeping you up to date with all the latest Mac software news and giving away a free copy of Things. We’ll also be launching a weekly Mac comic strip by the talented NC Winters!
To keep up to date with what’s going on, I’d recommend following AppStorm on twitter or subscribing to our RSS feed.
If there are any features or articles you would like to see on AppStorm, I welcome your input. Please feel free to leave a comment, send me a tweet or drop me an email.
Thanks for stopping by!
