Today we’ll be giving away five copies of Snowtape, an application that will be fully reviewed next week. Snowtape is the perfect solution for recording audio from various Internet radio stations, automatically tagging each file with appropriate information and album artwork. We seem to be on a roll with software giveaways at the moment – both here, and at Web.AppStorm. We’re continuing the momentum today, and have copies of both Layers and Concentrate to give away.
Concentrate is a great application that helps you work and study more productively by eliminating distractions. Our review of Concentrate is a good place to start if you’d like to find out more.
We reviewed Layers a few months ago, and found it to be a well rounded app which reliably delivers on the promise of providing a layered PSD file of your desktop.

After a great deal of deliberation, we have decided upon the winners of our desktop wallpaper competition (in conjunction with PSDTuts+). Thank you to everyone who entered. There were so many fantastic entries, choosing only ten winners was incredibly difficult.
We will be posting a huge roundup of over 160 incredible, original wallpapers tomorrow, so be sure to follow Mac AppStorm on Twitter or subscribe to our RSS feed so you don’t miss out.
The brief was to design an original wallpaper with a theme centred around Apple, AppStorm, or Lightning. We had a fantastic selection of entries – some covering all three of these areas, others covering one or two. The winning wallpapers cover a broad range of styles and techniques.
