We all remember journals as a childhood thing. They are usually identified with learning to write and it’s something that most adults aren’t used to doing. Journaling, however, is a great way to keep track of the stages of your life and the important events you go through.

It is always nice to go back in your journal and recall feelings, people and events from the past. It’s something that you can use to show your children your travels and adventures. But keeping a physical paper diary has become fairly inadequate, now that we have pretty much everything in digital form.

The app that we are reviewing today is called Day One and it does a great job at helping you keep a journal in the most simplistic manner in your Mac. Read on to find more about it!

While the iPhone can already be considered beautiful in itself, there’s nothing wrong with adding some personal touches to it. Specifically, setting your own custom backgrounds – after all, it’s your phone so why not make it look like it belongs to you?

So far, for creating backgrounds on your computer, you had to manually set the size of the desired image (which at least for me involves Googling around a bit) and then send it in some awkward way to your iPhone. Not to mention setting images for your contacts.

With Ensoul, a nifty Mac application, you can create backgrounds and set images for your contacts with just a few clicks, work in a beautiful interface, and transfer everything to your iPhone easily. Meet your iPhone’s new beauty advisor!

I think we’ve all been there. It just feels like its time for a new furniture configuration. The ideas are flowing. “I could move the chair over there and then the coffee table over here and then…”. Out comes the tape measure (maybe) and we start trying to figure out what would fit where and how it would all look.

You think you have it figured out, start moving furniture around and then realize that you’ve blocked half your doorway. Frustration ensues as you try to remedy your “design” and, after a while you end up back where you started and all you got out of it was a workout.

Maybe a little help is in order?
