Thanks to Our Weekly Sponsor: Radium

Our featured sponsor this week is Radium, the amazing menu bar Internet radio player.

We’ve been huge fans of Radium for years now. It’s the fastest, simplest way to access Internet radio from all over the world (50 countries and 100 languages!). The workflow is effortless: just type in a station name, genre or city and you’ll instantly get a list of results to choose from and can begin streaming immediately.

There are plenty of great features for power users as well, including AirPlay, social sharing, a comprehensive song history, customizable keyboard shortcuts and an impressive equalizer. Radium strikes that perfect balance between being powerful and so easy to use that anyone could pick it up immediately. We know you’re going to love it.

  • Yeah great, already bought it but just crashes on  launch.
NO response from numerous support emails sent.
You can keep it, not worth the bother.

    • Replied to you in the main thread. Thank you for voicing your experience.

      • Apologies to all concerned.

I feel like an idiot, Catpig have fixed my problem, it was very simple and not their fault.

Thank you, I shall now be able to be able enjoy Radium radio while at work.

  • Hi Dudley, it usually takes us a day or two to reply to a support email. I’m surprised you haven’t heard from us (could our emails end up in your spam folder?) since providing excellent customer service is one of the core values of our company.

Please contact us again to resolve the issue. There is one known problem (non-Radium related) that may cause a crash on launch, and it’s very easy to fix.

    Thank you!

  • I really like this program, but since it came to App store it is a bit different than before, and I must say I use it less… unfortunately.
It still is the best internet radio player for Mac, and support is great.
    Things that bother me:
    – it starts really slow, too much time to load stations (I have about 15-20 favorites),
I wish it loads my favorites and starts playing and then after that searching for new stations…
    – it needs a recording option badly, with tag support
and just to mention, I really liked the old menu icon with moving antenna, but that’s not an issue…
fix this two issues and in my opinion You have the best internet radio player there is, and ever will be…
    Thanks in advance

  • This design is steller! You most certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
