I am always disappointed when i keep reading the description and I see
” Quick Look posts are paid submissions offering only a brief overview of an app. Vote in the polls below if you think this app is worth an in-depth AppStorm review! ”

I’ve used art text, and it’s great if you …. don’t have any ability or design sense xD

Basically, you can do all of this in Photoshop, but you at least have to know how to open the styles palette and possibly know how to create your own styles. So, if you lack the ability, art text does it for you.

Also, the kinds of things you can do with art text are all derivative and rapidly aging styles, which makes the word “Creativity” in the above example kind of laughable: The whole point of art text is to remove the need for creativity and to recreate that thing you already saw and liked with the click of a button.

Mostly I think this is for a corporate office or a secretary (or anyone who isn’t necessarily interesting in making things look good, just making the popular glassy effects that everybody uses).

    • Joshi

      Bingo.
Any person with some sense of creativity knows that liquid metal text and such glossy buttons are a no – no.
