Differential backup is a must in order to not fill up your entire disk in a blink. As it is it looks too basic to me. In fact most of the high end apps (even MS Office crap) have the timed autosave built in, so the added value here is the backup and the quick-lookable database (really cool, I must say). I understand $15 is nothing, but you can hack the same/better functionality with rsync for free. Not to detract from the work, the app fulfills a much neede feat, but realization seems still a little green. I hope the author keeps on improving on it.

I haven’t tried it yet but from what I’ve read there it would be nice if instead of saving full backups every time it backed up differences, a bit like how Dropbox only transfers differences in files so you don’t have to sync the whole files every time they change. This could cut down on space but would also be far more complex for the developer.

This app is superb. I used to use Eversave and as soon as it went Pro and called Foreversave I knew it was a great purchase. I highly recommend it to anyone with a Mac.
