Does anyone have high res versions of these wallpapers? All of them are like 1024×768 or only the thumbnail on flickr.
Mine was listed (thanks Appstorm!) and the sizes provided on my Flickr page are for a 30″ LCD (2560 x 1600). If the wallpaper is on Flickr, you need to click the “All Sizes” icon above the thumbnail to view the originals.
most of them aren’t very creative
tomas, that’s why they’re minimal ;) the point of these wallpapers is to have a clean-looking desktop. at least, for me.
although a lot of these i have seen before, some of these are actually new to me. thanks for posting!

Love them or hate them, roundups create a lot of traffic. And as long as they are ad driven, that is the reality. Personally, I don’t mind and they are pretty easily dismissed if you don’t want to read them…
yeah, I had to agree with the OP; please please stop these. At *least* the software roundups give me interesting software I may have not considered.

The problem with these round ups is their completely average. Half of these wallpapers I saw back in 2008. First gen iPhone wallpaper? C’mon!

Alot of these are a bit substandard,, I go to MacThemes.com and Macristrocicy for my stuff.

This would be a great post if you had checked out the sources properly and ensured that all the linked images were uploaded in a a decent resolution. Who has a 1024×768 screen-size on a mac these days? Good posts stem from good research which I must say is something you are usually good at on AppStorm. Don’t be dropping the ball on us now.

Thanks, you guys! I now have a collection of some 500 (resolution appropriate) wallpapers for my Macs. I have a single Dropbox account for just my wallpapers, now a days! You guys have beautied up my desktop to much, keep em coming! How’s about, per se, a monthly post of just new wallpapers? And… can they be resolution-smart? I really would hate to see a great wallpaper, only to find out that its 1024×768 would look downright awful on my 30″ Apple display. Thanks again, guys!

The Black tiled Apple Logo fading into lower black is originally mine, and I was not asked if it would be alright for this wallpaper to be displayed, or uploaded to Desktop Nexus at such a poor resolution.

Thats very true. A Mac should have an apple on screen at all times and not only the wallpaper, but also covers & Cases which does not cover the apple.
