All systems are go, people. Apple has announced the official dates for their annual Worldwide Developers Conference and internet forums and Twitter feeds are already alive with predictions about what exactly is going to be announced. WWDC ’12 (with a slightly cryptic tagline It’s the week we’ve all been waiting for) will take place on June 11 – 15th in the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, a favourite venue for Apple several years running.
Apple today has announced its Q1 earnings for the fiscal year 2012 – and the results are certainly not to be sniffed at. Q1 has been Apple’s best quarter ever with a reported $46.33 billion in revenue posted. The data, which is available for download from Apple’s corporate website, breaks down this pretty much incomprehensible sum into individual sources.
We recently went over the best apps of 2011 and it’s safe to say that last year was an amazing time to be a Mac user. Not only did our favorite apps see major updates, there was a nice influx of brand new apps that were simply too good to pass up.
