Math can pose difficulties for even the most brilliant among us. Complicated equations, complex graphs, or even just troubles adding fractions can cause trouble and frustration for anyone trying to conquer math. If you find yourself or someone that you know struggling with math, rest assured. There are a number of apps that can help to ease the worries of a tough math problem or class.

All ages can find an app to help them. I have included in this collection a number of apps for a variety of ages and subjects. There’s apps here for everything from complex graphing to statistics to simple multiplication problems. Stick with me to learn about some of the many applications available to help you ace that nagging math class you are struggling with, along with a few bonus apps at the end.

Reading. Writing. Researching. Revising. Studying. Discussing. These are just a few of the many things that a good English major is expected to do. The workload might seem overwhelming at times. Luckily, a number of different apps exist to help you out along the way.

From writing apps to dictionaries and even publishing tools, a huge variety of Mac apps can definitely find a helpful home in every English Major’s hard drive. This list contains a few of what I consider to be the most helpful apps for an English major.

Macs are becoming much more popular with college students nowadays, owing to Apple’s generous student discount (around 15%) upon purchase. But once you’ve bought your shiny new computer, you’ll be wanting to know which are the best Mac apps aimed at college students and which ones to download or buy.

Up until a few years ago, Mac users had very little choice of software as they were seen mostly as a niche platform and therefore only ran specialist software.

As I was in exactly the same position when I bought my Mac, I’ve now created – for all the students out there – a list of 25 superb applications recommended for you. I’ve tried to keep this list relevant to any major and, in order to save on costs, I have tried to include free software wherever I can.
