Cram is a great learning assistant for the Mac, with a flash-card interface and comprehensive testing functionality. If you’d like to know more, our review offers a good overview of what’s on offer. The great news is that we have five copies to give away, courtesy of SimpleLeap, the developers of Cram.

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment on this post, letting us know what you’d like to learn with Cram’s assistance. It could be anything from a new language, to the names of all your new office co-workers!

Five winners will be randomly selected in one week, on Wednesday 17th June. Best of luck, and as with all competitions, there’s just one legal point to make – you aren’t eligible to take part if you work for Envato.

To make sure you find out if you’re a winner, feel free to follow us on Twitter or via RSS!

Our giveaway of ten ExpanDrive licenses is now closed and the winners chosen. A big thank you to all those who entered, and also to ExpanDrive for supporting the competition. If you’d like to find out more about the app, our review is a great place to start.

  3. Kim Korte
  4. Benedikt R
  5. Bartek

We’re running a another huge competition this week, with ten (yes, ten!) copies of ExpanDrive on offer, worth $400. We reviewed ExpanDrive yesterday, and found it to be an excellent tool for integrating FTP access with the OS X Finder.

It’s a great solution if you’re a web designer, developer, regularly back up to an FTP server, or don’t want to fork over $99 for access to an iDisk.

Entering is simple. All you need to do is:

  1. Post a link to this competition – either on your website, or via Twitter
  2. Leave a comment, letting me know where you posted the link!

The competition will run for 10 days, and we’ll randomly select ten winners on Friday the 5th June. The odds of winning a license are incredible, so don’t forget to subscribe via RSS or follow us on Twitter to find out if you’ve been successful.

Good luck!

Thanks for all the entertaining entries to the Prizmo giveaway. I have great fun reading through a bunch of the crazy plans you had in store for the app!

It was difficult, but I’ve chosen three comments which stood out from the rest:

  • John Davis – Because your first experience with a Mac does indeed need to be priceless.
  • Pieter – Because scanners really shouldn’t eat people’s fingers…
  • Turtle – Because you outlined an epic blockbuster movie, complete with a closing montage!

Congratulations! You should find a license code sitting in your inbox. A big thank you goes out to Prizmo for sponsoring the competition.

For those who missed out, I do have some form of consolation. Next week we shall be giving away not one, not five, but ten copies of a popular Mac FTP app (a total value of $400!). Get subscribed via Twitter or RSS to ensure you don’t miss out.

This week we’re giving away three copies of Prizmo, a tool for “scanning via a digital camera” and altering the perspective of photographs. We were impressed with the application in our review, and the software does a great job (providing you have a decent camera!)

To be in with a chance of winning one of the three licenses, simply leave a comment on this post letting us know what you’d like to use Prizmo for. The more creative the better!

Three of the most interesting responses will be selected on Wednesday 20th May. Best of luck, and as with all competitions, there’s just one legal point to make – you aren’t eligible to take part if you work for Envato.

A week ago we announced our biggest competition yet, offering two licenses for Tweetie and one for DevonThink Pro. One week and 400 entries later, we’re ready to announce the winners.

Congratulations to the winners – I hope you enjoy the great software. Another competition is planned for next week, so get yourself subscribed if not already!

We’re running a bumper competition this week, with two copies of Tweetie and one DevonThink Pro license up for grabs. These are two stunning applications, with a total value of over $120.

We’ve recently reviewed DevonThink Pro, finding it to offer an excellent solution for storing and organizing documents. It also provides a way to create a paper-free office system; a goal many of us are looking to achieve! Our Tweetie review found it to be a thoroughly well designed, fully functional Twitter client for the Mac.

Entering is simple. All you need to do is:

  1. Post a link to this competition – either on your website, or via Twitter
  2. Leave a comment, letting me know where you posted the link!

The competition will run for one week, and we’ll randomly select three winners on Wednesday 6th May. Good luck!

Thank you to everyone who entered our Espionage competition. The results are in, and I’m pleased to announce that the winners are as follows.

Comment Winners

Twitter Riddle Winner

We posted a riddle on Twitter this week, which was correctly answered by @visualpro in the blink of an eye.

Congratulations, and I hope you enjoy encrypting away! Hot on the heels of this contest, we’re running another bumper giveaway of Tweetie and DevonThink Pro. This will be getting started in the next couple of days so stay tuned!

It’s competition time again, and this week we have three licenses for Espionage up for grabs. Espionage is a data encryption app for OS X, which we recently reviewed. If you don’t want the system wide performance hit of FileVault but do have the odd application/folder to encrypt, it’s a great solution.

As promised, we have three copies to give away. All you need to do is:

  1. Post a link to this competition – either on your website, or via Twitter
  2. Leave a comment, letting me know where you posted the link

Two comments will be selected randomly as winners on the 27th April. The third copy will be given away at some point this week via Twitter (we have a riddle planned!). To be in with a chance of winning, be sure to follow us!

Best of luck, and as with all competitions, there’s just one legal point to make – you aren’t eligible to take part if you work for Envato.

Thank you to everyone who entered our recent MarsEdit competition. I’m pleased to say that the results are in! If you haven’t used MarsEdit before, be sure to check out our review. It’s a great desktop blogging app for OS X.

Three copies of MarsEdit were up for grabs, with two going to randomly selected commenters, and one going to a random Twitter follower (selected via TwitRand). Here are the lucky three winners:

I run several blogs, one of which is a travel information blog about a province where I live. It’s a pretty great place, and has everything from awesome beaches, mountains to scale and art centers. I put alot of info in just one post, and editing them on the blog’s wysiwyg or on a word processor isn’t helping much. MarsEdit could help me managing this blog.

Mads Thygesen, via comment:

Would really like this app :-) Im still new to to Mac and OSX, and this would be the perfect app to manage my blog.

Congratulations to all the winners – you’ll be contacted shortly. If you didn’t win this time, don’t despair. We’ll be kicking off another competition to win Espionage early next week. To make sure you don’t miss out, feel free to follow us on Twitter, or subscribe to the RSS feed.
