Competition Details (Now Closed)

It’s competition time again, and today we have three licenses of TapeDeck to give away. TapeDeck is a retro audio recorder for OS X, organising your recordings into virtual “tapes”, with a thoroughly unique interface. We posted an in-depth review of TapeDeck last week, and are thrilled that we have a few licenses to offer our readers!

Entering is very simple. All you need to do is:

  1. Post a link to this competition – either on your website, or via Twitter
  2. Leave a comment, letting me know where you posted the link!

The competition will run for one week, and we’ll announce the winners on the Friday 5th March. Good luck, and have a fun weekend!

A big thank you to everyone who entered our Cocktail competition last week. We’ve picked the five lucky winners, and I’m pleased to announce that they are:

  1. Julian Schrader
  2. MacChap
  3. Biship
  4. Tyago Neres
  5. Chr1spy

Your license codes will be on the way very soon! Apologies to those of you who missed out, but we’ll have a fantastic giveaway coming later this week to win the entire suite of The Little App Factory‘s software.

Stay tuned via RSS or Twitter to be notified when the competition kicks off.

I’m pleased to announce that we have five full licenses of Cocktail to give away this week. Cocktail is a great way to gain easy access to some fairly complex system settings, and there’s plenty of information about the application in our in-depth review posted last week.

Entering is very simple. All you need to do is follow our new site on Twitter (iPhone.AppStorm), and post your Twitter username in the comments. The competition will run until Monday 8th February, and we’ll be selecting the five winners at random.

Good luck, and stay tuned to find out if you’re a winner!

Thank you to everyone who entered our competition to win a copy of the excellent ColorSchemer Studio. It would be great to give you all a license, but unfortunately we had to pick three winners.

The results are in, and I’m pleased to let you know that we’ll be sending a license to the following three commenters:

  1. Syphadius
  2. DeliXe
  3. Ethan Wright

Congratulations to you all, and stay tuned for another competition coming soon! You can follow us on Twitter, or subscribe to our RSS feed to be notified of new giveaways.

If you’re a designer, working with colour is a daily task. Sometimes it can be a real pleasure, but on other occasions a piece of software to help would be much appreciated! Last week we reviewed ColorSchemer Studio 2, a great app for coming up with effective and professional color combinations.

I’m pleased to announce that we have three full licenses to give away to a few lucky readers. Entering is really simple – all you need to do is leave a comment, letting us know which feature in ColorSchemer 2 is your favourite. To find out what’s included in the new version, just head over to the ColorSchemer website and take a look at the range of features on offer.

Best of luck, and we’ll be announcing the winners on Monday 18th January!

Sorry to all those who missed out, but we’ll have another competition coming soon. Thanks for reading Mac.AppStorm!

Slammer is an interesting application for designers that we reviewed a few weeks ago. It’s an advanced layout tool that allows web and interface designers alike to create and tweak their layouts to align with a grid system, golden sections, harmonious sections and the fibonacci series.

I’m pleased to tell you that we have five licenses to give away to a handful of lucky readers. Entering simply requires that you leave a comment on this post. Easy!

Good luck, and we’ll be announcing the winners on Monday 11th January.

I’m excited to announce that tomorrow marks the start of the AppStorm Christmas Giveaway. We’ll be running this across both Mac.AppStorm, and Web.AppStorm, and it’s going to be huge! A big thanks to everyone who entered our Code Collector Pro giveaway and followed Mac.AppStorm on Facebook last week. We’ve selected the two lucky winners, and I’m pleased to say that they are:

  • Anaïs Pirio
  • Josh Spry

Congratulations to you both, and a big thanks to MCubed Software for sponsoring the competition. We couldn’t run these weekly giveaways if it wasn’t for all the generous developers out there.

Sorry to those who missed out, but don’t worry – we’re giving away thousands of dollars of software in December. Stay tuned for more information…!
