Pagico Professional is a task management application that is much more than a simple GTD app. In contrast to the trendy to do applications that have arisen lately that purposely stay lean on features, Pagico targets professionals with complicated workflows by piling on the possibilities and integration options.
Today we’ll go over how to use Pagico’s major features as well as whether or not we think it’s worth your time to download and try for yourself.
Every day you process loads of information: due dates, notes to self, phone numbers, and serial numbers to name a few. Almost all of this information is miscellaneous, and has no real place to go.
What usually happens is one of the following: a) Your desk is yellow from sticky notes or b) your computer’s desktop and your folder hierarchy are bogged down with the virtual post-it note, text files. What’s needed is an easy to follow system, that you can easily reference.
VoodoPad from Flying Meat Software is a text editor rolled into a personal wiki. It’s a place to dump all your information, no matter how obscure. Note taking is not one of my strong areas, and I’m pretty sure no-one who knows me will argue this point. However, if you’re like me, the need to jot down something down often occurs with a computer in easy reach. Typing in a few things eliminates the need to try to decipher scrawled hieroglyphics or find that crumpled up napkin you scribbled on 3 days ago.
There’s no need to be high tech about it; let’s face it, put Text Edit in the dock, click it, and type out your note. You wouldn’t be alone as this a commonly used method for saving bits of data. However, there are some great tools out there for taking and keeping any kind of note you want to track. A huge variety of apps are available, but I’m going to focus on three – the three that just plain work for me.
