This week has (again) been pretty quiet in the world of Mac news but we’ve still managed to find some juicy stories to keep you ticking over till next week.
This week has been pretty full up with all sorts going on in the Apple world, in particular the official announcement of WWDC 2012 (where we are probably going to see the proper launch of OS X Mountain Lion, a new and updated iMac range and maybe even a sneak preview of iOS 6) and the fact the tickets sold in a mere 2 hours!

This week saw some pretty big announcements in the world of Mac software, especially with the release of Photoshop CS6 beta on Thursday with a completely revamped interface and tonnes of new features aimed at making editing photos an absolute breeze.

The news that has dominated the Apple newssphere this week has been the launch of the new iPad on Friday in 10 countries around the world, with further launches scheduled for the next week. The news from the Apple-sphere this week has undeniably been dominated with the announcement of the long-awaited iPad 3 release, which is due to be unveiled next Wednesday at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco along with a possible 8GB iPad 2 designed to compete with cheaper tablets in the market. Most Apple fans are certainly very excited for this launch as that dream of an iPad with a crystal-clear retina display may finally become a reality!
